FAQ

Short answers before you buy.

What format do I get?

An .xlsx workbook plus a short README. Works in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (via Import / Make a copy).

Is this in Canadian dollars?

Yes. The workbook is built for CAD with en-CA-friendly dates (YYYY-MM-DD). Enter amounts as you actually pay them (tax included).

Will this make me more money?

No. It’s a budgeting organizer. It helps you allocate the pay you already earn — it does not increase income, guarantee savings, or provide financial advice.

Do you connect to my bank?

No. Everything is manual entry on your copy of the file. Your data stays with you.

Why not a free budget spreadsheet?

Free Canadian planners are usually monthly. This workbook is built for biweekly pay every 14 days (26 paydays, including months with a third payday), with bills, debt, savings, and a Safe-to-Spend number for this paycheck. One-time CA$9.99 — no subscription, no bank sync.

Can I map each bill to a specific payday?

Yes. On the Bills tab, Suggested picks the nearest upcoming paycheck from your Pay Calendar; Assign to payday (1–26) lets you override (e.g. fund rent-on-the-1st from the prior cheque). Safe-to-Spend still counts all active bills — Assign is planning UX, not a filter that hides obligations.

Is biweekly the same as semi-monthly?

No. Biweekly is every 14 days (26 pays/year, including months with a third payday). Semi-monthly is twice a calendar month (24 pays). This workbook is for biweekly pay only.

How fast do I get the file?

Right after Stripe checkout you get an email with the download. Open in Excel or import to Google Sheets (File → Make a copy).

Can I get a refund?

Instant digital download — refunds are limited. If the file won’t open or the email doesn’t arrive, reply to the delivery email and we’ll replace or help you open it first.

Know this payday’s Safe-to-Spend before the bills hit.

One workbook. Twenty-six pay dates. Assign bills to paydays. A clear safe-to-spend number — based on your math, not hype.
